Prophecy is speaking forth a message from the Father or the Son for the church in order to edify, exhort or comfort His people.- Empowered
Foretelling: Speaking to a future event that helps people better prepare themselves for what God is about to do and how to better obey Him
Forthtelling: A word which reveals the Lord's heart, purpose and plan for His people. Declaring the truth of God in a current context.
1. A prophetic word that builds up (edification)
2. A prophetic word that stirs up (exhortation)
3. A prophetic word that lifts up (comfort)
